An interesting archaeological relic found throughout Lebanon is the hundreds of well-preserved mosaics from the Roman and Byzantine eras. Lebanon has a great architectural heritage, expression of different aspects of civilizations. The cities and ruins of Aanjar, Baalbeck, Byblos, Tyre and the Qadisha Valley/Cedars Forest are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Lebanon is one of the few winter sport centers in the Middle East and certainly the most extensive. The largest resorts have hotels, chalets and other facilities including good ski lifts.

Over the ages, skilled Lebanese artisans have perfected the art of creating beautiful blown glass, jewelry, inlaid and engraved wooden boxes and furniture, textiles and linens, pottery, copper, ebony and bone handled cutlery which originated in the city of Jezzine, traditional olive oil soap is entirely natural, pure and moisturizing.
